Project Bani Hayoune Garden
Ongoing project (2019-today)

Over the past couple of years I have been living and working at a ruin in the small village Beni Hayoun, Morocco. The village is located in the Daraa valley next to the Sahara desert and is part of one of the driest regions of Morocco.

Together with Es-Said Et-Talmoudi and with volunteers from allover the world, we are restoring and rebuilding an old house that has been built by Saids family around 200 years ago. While more and more people are moving away from this region, we are trying to make the place livable again and are working on our shared dream: creating a communal organic garden, a guest space for travelers and an empowering space for the women and children of Beni Hayoun and Sahara region.
